Measurement Guide

Dress Measurement Guide

To find the perfect fit for your dress, it’s essential to take accurate measurements. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you measure yourself. Always use a flexible measuring tape and ensure it’s level across your body for the most precise measurements.

1. Bust:

  • Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape is level under your arms and across your back.
  • Keep your arms relaxed by your sides when measuring.

2. Waist:

  • Measure around the narrowest part of your waist, usually about an inch above your belly button.
  • Don’t suck in or hold your breath—be relaxed to get the best fit.

3. Hips:

  • Measure around the fullest part of your hips, typically around 7-9 inches below your natural waistline.
  • Ensure the measuring tape is level all around.

4. Hollow to Hem (For Long Dresses):

  • Stand straight with your feet together and measure from the hollow of your neck (the dip between your collarbones) to the floor.
  • Wear the shoes you plan to wear with the dress for an accurate measurement.

Note: Always check the specific designer's size chart, as sizing can vary by brand.
